Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 April 2027This page explains what happens to the information you type into this website. It is written plainly, because most visitors here are students and their parents.
The short version
- You do not need an account, and there is nothing to sign up for.
- Your roll and registration number are used to fetch your result. A record of the search is kept for up to seven days and then deleted automatically.
- There is no advertising network and no Facebook pixel on this site.
- Visitor statistics are collected in aggregate so we can see which pages are useful. They are not tied to your name or your result.
- Nothing is sold, rented or shared with marketers. Ever.
What you type into the result checker
To show a result, the checker needs your roll number, your registration number, your board, the exam and the year. Institution heads may also enter an EIIN number.
What happens when you press the button:
- The values you typed are sent from your browser to this website’s server
- The server passes them to the official education board result system
- The board’s answer is sent back and shown on your screen
These numbers are not published anywhere, not attached to your name, and not used to build any profile. They are not used for marketing and are never passed to advertisers or data brokers.
How long the search is kept
The result checker keeps a record of each search in this website’s database for up to seven days, so that repeated requests load faster and so that abuse of the checker can be spotted. After seven days the record is deleted automatically. Nothing is kept beyond that, and nothing is archived elsewhere.
Standard server logs kept by the hosting provider are used only to keep the site running and to investigate abuse, and they are overwritten in the normal course of operation.

Visitor statistics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful, so that the guides can be improved. It reports numbers in aggregate, for example how many people opened the Dhaka Board page or arrived from a search engine.
What it can see: the pages you opened, roughly where in the world you are, the type of device and browser, and which site or search sent you here. What it never receives: your name, your roll number, your registration number or your result. Those are not passed to Google or to any other analytics service.
If you would rather not be counted, you can install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, use your browser’s private or incognito mode, or block analytics scripts with any content blocker. Everything on this site, including the result checker, works normally either way.
Cookies
No advertising cookies are set on this site. Two kinds of cookie may appear:
- Technical cookies set by the website software, needed for basic operation and security.
- Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics, used to tell a returning visit from a new one.
You can block or delete all of them in your browser settings. The result checker will still work.
Students under 18
Most people using this site are school students, many of them under 18. That is exactly why this site collects as little as possible.
No name, address, phone number, photograph, school details or date of birth is requested anywhere on this site. No account can be created. Nothing a student enters is used to contact or advertise to them.
Parents or guardians who have a question about this may write to the address at the bottom of this page.
Other parties involved
- The education boards. Your roll and registration number reach the official board result system, because that is the only place a result can come from. Their handling of that data is governed by their own rules.
- The hosting provider. The website is hosted on commercial hosting infrastructure, which keeps standard server logs on behalf of this site.
- Google Analytics. Aggregate visit statistics are processed by Google under its own privacy terms. Your roll number, registration number and result are never sent to it.
Links from this site to government portals or other websites are for convenience. Once you follow such a link, that website’s own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Your choices
- You can read every article on this site without entering anything at all.
- You can use the SMS method to 16222 instead, which does not involve this website.
- You can opt out of analytics with the add-on or a content blocker described above.
- You can ask what information relating to you exists here, and ask for it to be deleted before the seven days are up, by writing to the address below.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. Significant changes will be noted on the home page as well.
